Meeting for a cup of coffee and then inviting you to my spartan place. We would spend the time getting to "Know" each other ~ our hopes ~ our dreams~ our likes & dislikes ~ and see if we have something to offer one~another apart from a few laughs and a good time. We would open ~ honest ~ and unpretentious. I'd fix us something to eat and we would laugh. My date might even leave with a hand~signed "Limited Edition" poetry book? Perhaps, I'd have also given her a good back~rub or a feel~good foot massage?

Cutting through the "Crap" and getting to know a potential love interest without wasting the precious time attempting to impress that person which can only lead to dissippointment later when she discovers that I am not that perfect man that I had somehow led her to believe that I was.

To help others ~ while helping myself. Before he passed away, my favorate minister friend said, "I'll take pie in the sky in the sweet bye & bye but I want steak on my plate while I wait." I feel it is possible to have both. With the disabling symptims of MS (Multiple Sclerosis), I need to recover completely from this dread disease. I am! I want to encourage other's ~ who have all but given up hope ~ to depart from their drug owned doctors and get well. I want to help my chosen lifemate to be everything that she has wanted to be and to work together with her to make her dreams an important part of our shared reality. Yes, I want her help in creating / maintaining my website and using it as our vehicle to fund our many and varied pursuits. I want to own again a piece of a tropical island, and invite my kids and grandkids to come snorkeling, hear my songs recorded, and see my books become bestsellers.
