I think chemistry between 2 people is something that can happen immediately. And sometimes it isn't immediate. Chemistry might not take place until a friendship is made and from there, that friendship can blossom into something much deeper. For the most part, I know from my own experience that, usually for me I fall for someone right away or not at all and vice versa, It's rare though.
