First off, you should know that I’m extremely shy, and that getting to know me might take a little time. I'm incredibly mild-mannered and gentle. You'll almost never hear me raise my voice in anger, and I'm very sensitive to others' feelings.

I am afflicted with a few anxiety disorders. Although this limits my abilities somewhat, it certainly doesn't make me 'retarded' in any way, as some observers seem to think. I actually possess an IQ of 142, and am well qualified in the fields of math, science, reading, and writing. These disorders were very disruptive at one point, but I am now medicated for them and they don't pose as much of a threat as they once did.

On the surface I may seem like a serious, morose person, but I must tell you that this is not me at all! My true self lies deep within, and reveals itself when I become comfortable with my surroundings. This 'hidden personality' is funny, cheerful, hyperactive, and even crazy at times. I am very capable of making any of my friends laugh easily! Every one of my friendships is built around laughter. I joke ALL the time. Nearly every minute spent with my friends is spent laughing. It is my wish to share this great bond with a woman in my life, as well. I also enjoy writing stories (and sometimes poetry), which also succeed in causing uproarious laughter.

Due to my increased shyness around girls, I've only had two girlfriends my entire life. Having a girlfriend is quite a luxury for me, so I wouldn't even think of cheating on someone... I wouldn't have the heart to do it anyway, as I can't bear to hurt someone I love.

...two goals.
Firstly, to eventually overcome my anxiety-related disorders through the help of my doctors, medication, God, and loved ones. Even if I am to never be healed, I will keep working to improve.
Secondly, to meet the woman who will help me in this endeavor, accept me for me, and love me for all that I am, anxiety or no, healed or not. With her love and understanding, my efforts surely won't be in vain.

I like a girl who is smart and funny, and maybe a little of a nerd. If she has tendencies to get goofy or silly at times, that's all the better. Something I find very attractive is a girl who plays video games, but I can't be too choosy, can I? One who is well-learned, appreciates an intelligent man, and accepts his eccentricities. Physical attractiveness helps some too (but not required) -- I tend to prefer 'cute' over 'hot.'
