I'm divorced for over 2 years and finding that I'm sort of frightened about dating again after being married for 28 years this 2nd go around. Previous husband passed away, and 1 year later I remarried, much against that tiny sick feeling in my stomach. Several years later I knew why, but that's a long story to be told later.

At home I'm a jeans, t-shirt/sweatshirt and tennies gal, but do know how to dress for either casual or important functions.

I'm very easy to get along with and enjoy doing to many things to list.

I do not swim but love being in boats providing I have 3 life jackets. One around my neck, around my middle and around my feet. I fear drowning.LOL..

While fishing with friends, I managed to catch a blue catfish and when getting it on the boat I asked, What the hell is this thing? LOL. I had only fly fished many years ago and fished for trout. Did a bit of ocean fishing too, and managed to catch kelp bass. Tasted pretty good when I fried them. Ok, enough about fishing. I do enjoy fishing, but won't bait the hook. I can't stand touching those squiggly worms.

My friends tell me that I'm a nut most times. I guess it's because of my silliness. I love to have fun and laugh. I love dogs and cats, birds and fish. You know, the aquarium type fish. Cooked fish is great too.LOL I enjoy gambling, but only occasionally. Money is too hard to come by. Dressing for a night out and dining is an occasional pleasure, but most times it's more fun to eat at KFC, Pizza Hut, and other good places.

Talents or hobbies? Hmmm, not sure about that.

As for my family, most are living in Calif., Oregon and Idaho. However, I am living with my eldest daughter at this time. My younger daughter lives in Calif., and my son, in Arizona. Just kinda spread out over the west. I and my daughter are the only ones to move to the mid-west. She hates it, but I think it's ok. I've made quite a few friends while living here and would miss them terribly if I moved away. However, I could adust to a new life in a new state if necessary.

I don't make friends easily. I'm quiet and observe people before letting my hair down. I think that's from early teachings from my mother who insisted we be choosy about our friends. Sure kept me out of a lot of trouble. LOL

If there are questions, feel free to ask. I'm a totally honest and truthful person. I'm loyal, loving, considerate, compassionate, passionate too, and devoted to the man I love. I'm simply a one man gal.

My first date would be dining in a nice restaurant in a quiet spot where we could chat and get to know each other before making future plans. It could also be just walking in a park hand in hand while talking about anything and everything.

At my age, trying something new such as bungee jumping, sky diving or bull riding, is out of the question. However, I'd love to try driving a speed boat. That can't be too dangerous. LOL

having friends for a dinner or backyard BBQ, going fishing, walking hand in hand while in the rain or snow or even on a sunny day. I love walking on a beach or going to a zoo and feeding the animals. Going for drives and discovering new places and things really turns me on. Going to casinos is fun, but not doing it often. Getting together with friends and just chatting for awhile is enjoyable. Love family gatherings for doing most anything, especially for the holidays. I think sharing the kitchen and cooking together is a fun thing to do. I could mention other things, but it wouldn't be printed here. LOL.

I'm looking for a man who would put up with my sometimes silliness, my quirks, which we all have. A man who enjoys much of the same as I, and a one woman man. A man who is loving, attentive, loyal, honest and truthful and devoted to me. He can be a smoker or non-smoker, a social drinker only, although having a beer together is ok, especially during hot weather or eating Mexican food. I'd like for my man to teach me things I don't know, but not hunting. I could never kill an animal. I look for a man to be neat and clean. He can be a jeans type guy too, but dress properly for dining out, whether it be a nice restaurant or any type of social function. If my man has a beard, that's fine, but beards that are not short and kept trimmed are a turn-off for me. Foul language and heavy drinking is a turn-off. Physical or mental abuse is a big turn-off. I'm not looking for perfection, just a good man.
